Heather Mills

Co-Owner, Rules Director - Great Lakes Cheer Championships

Heather has an extensive background in competitive dance where she received many state and national titles thru Mid – American Pom Pom and NCA. Heather has cheered for the AFL (arena football league  team, the Detroit Drive. Heather has over 10 years experience as  head coach of the Class A Anchor Bay Varsity/JV Cheer team, American Flyerz All Stars, and Cheer XL All Stars with regular first place finishes at all levels.   Heather has extensive knowledge of the National Federation Spirit Handbook, MCCA, MHSAA, USASF/NACCC and AACCA rule books for cheerleading.  She holds many certifications and awards in the field of Cheerleading and Gymnastics. Heather is  a certified cheerleading and dance  judge for school, recreational and all-star competitions regionally and nationally.  As the rules director of Great Lakes Cheer Championships, she is a contributor to the USASF rules committee and is a consultant to coaches nationwide for interpretation of USASF rules for GLCC All Star competitions. Heather has also participated as lead legality judge for CheerSport Nationals. Heather is also a certified USASF coaches  instructor. Heather has consistently received praise and scores high for her innovative choreography and music compositions nationally.
